My career at Vanderbilt began as a trauma nurse, which evolved into charge nurse responsibilities. This was my home for seven years. Seeking to do more in the management arena, I pursued the role of Administrative Coordinator. I was tasked with keeping things running smoothly and serving as liaison to those with critical decision making responsibilities. I currently serve as the director of emergency preparedness for Vanderbilt University Medical Center. My education includes a BS from David Lipscomb University, a nursing degree from Columbia State Community College, and a Master of Health Care Administration from the University of St. Francis.
